Terms of Service

Welcome to MsjPay, a financial technology platform operated by MSJ Technologies. These Terms of Service govern your use of MsjPay's services. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using MsjPay, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, a Nigerian resident, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MsjPay.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information
- One account per person — multiple accounts are prohibited
- You are responsible for maintaining account security and your PIN
- You must notify us immediately of unauthorized account access
- MsjPay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations
3. Wallet & Transactions
- MsjPay Wallet is not a bank account and is not covered by the NDIC
- All transactions require your 4-digit transaction PIN
- Transaction limits apply based on your KYC verification level
- All transactions are final unless a processing error occurs on our end
- Wallet funds may not earn interest
- MsjPay is not liable for failed VTU transactions caused by provider downtime
4. Micro Escrow Service
- Escrow funds are held by MsjPay until the buyer confirms delivery
- A service charge of 1.5% applies to all escrow transactions
- Buyers must confirm or dispute within the agreed delivery deadline
- Disputes are reviewed by MsjPay within 24 hours; our decision is final
- MsjPay does not guarantee the quality of goods or services traded
- Escrow cannot be used for illegal goods, services, or transactions
- In case of fraud proven against a seller, the buyer receives a full refund
5. Airtime to Cash
- Airtime-to-cash is a manual service reviewed within 30 minutes
- Rates are set by MsjPay and may change without notice
- We verify receipt of airtime before crediting your wallet
- Sending airtime to our number without completing a request is not refundable
- Minimum A2C amount is ₦500; maximum is ₦50,000 per request
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use MsjPay for:
- Money laundering, fraud, or financing terrorism
- Purchasing or selling illegal goods or services
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating others
- Attempting to hack, exploit, or reverse-engineer our systems
- Using bots or automated scripts on our platform
- Processing stolen credit cards or debit cards
- Any activity that violates Nigerian law
7. Fees & Charges
- Bank transfers: ₦25 per transaction
- Escrow: 1.5% of transaction amount
- Airtime/data/bills: Charged at our listed selling prices
- No monthly or maintenance fees on your wallet
- All fees are disclosed before you confirm any transaction
8. Liability Limitation
MsjPay is not liable for:
- Losses caused by third-party provider failures (PalmPay, PaymentPoint, Gladtidings)
- Losses from unauthorized access due to your negligence
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Force majeure events including network outages, regulatory actions, or natural disasters
Our total liability to you in any event shall not exceed the amount of the disputed transaction.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, wallet balances above ₦100 will be refunded to a verified bank account within 5–10 business days.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of MsjPay after changes constitutes your acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
